| The fault has now been confirmed as cleared by the provider following a cold restart of a WSS card. The fibre provider has confirmed they will issue a full RFO in due course and will plan any required scheduled maintenance for future prevention of re-occurrence. | |

| The Ciena and Fibre engineers have found a fault in the fibre amplifier and are arranging a replacement. We saw the connection briefly come back and then go down again so have shut our transit links on the fibre until the all clear to avoid any flapping of the connection. | |
